Thoughts: So to start off my dive into Stephen King's books, this is the first published book by him. Before this, he had only written short stories and he was only using his writing to get extra cash for his family. This is the first time I read Carrie, interesting tip bit of information most readers encountered this story in their teenage life mainly due to the storyline Carrie is a highschooler. I will say that it is very difficult at this time to know nothing about Carrie even if you are not a reader. I have not seen the movie in an extremely long time. Maybe I saw portions of the original or first version of the movie. But I have an idea of the overall plot and some of the more iconic scenes in the story.
