Book Description:
Natasha: I’m a girl who believes in science and facts. Not fate. Not destiny. Or dreams that will never come true. I’m definitely not the kind of girl who meets a cute boy on a crowded New York City street and falls in love with him. Not when my family is twelve hours away from being deported to Jamaica. Falling in love with him won’t be my story.

Daniel: I’ve always been the good son, the good student, living up to my parents’ high expectations. Never the poet. Or the dreamer. But when I see her, I forget about all that. Something about Natasha makes me think that fate has something much more extraordinary in store—for both of us.

The Universe: Every moment in our lives has brought us to this single moment. A million futures lie before us. Which one will come true?

My opinion: I loved it so very much. I have been reading Comtemporary YA for the past year with a lot more frequency and I believed that it would become harder to enojy a book, sometimes they are just too down played for me. I am no longer a teenager and sometimes reading from teens POV can get annoying because I get angry that they take certain decisions and oh well I am too emotional about books and their angst and just all their feelings become my own so naturally I get too invested and hate the sequence until it gets better.... or not depending. But that's off topic; I really liked the way these teenagers were portrayed. I generally look for realistic situations and reactions from the characters in Contemporary and this fits my requirement.

Daniel is a typical dreamer, but he never has acted upon his wishes and always follows his parents dreams for him so he never developed dreams of his own. That's kind of sad at some part but it is so true. Most children tend to want to live up to their parents expectations and live the way they dictate. Some are more strict on their leading than others, it isn't necessarily a bad thing but it can build tremendous pressure on the children. He is exactly the kind of person that Natasha would normally avoid, I mean considering the circumstantes of her life at the point where she meets Daniel.
It is a fluffly read, really, but they fall for each other in their own ways and at their own pace. The love story where people fall in love instantly, I generally avoid. I do not like the Romeo and Julliet kind of love story I believe you can't develop real feelings for another person instantly. It is mere attraction and that's it.

I might have changed my mind, book realted of course, and accept that sometimes things just happen that make you develop real strong emotions in relatively short period of time.  I enjoyed the way things go from point A to B to Z in their love story. It does not seem forced and they do not get a last minute miracle in their story to make the whole thing seem like they faced issues just for the sake of making plot points. Their single day ends in a very realistic and expected way.

I love the ending as well... I love that in the end it does seem like they were fated to meet and be together.

I gave this a 4.5 out of 5 stars because it does definately deserve it. I might just change it to 5.
