Complete tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe

 So in my try to incorporate on my readings more classics I bought the complete works of Edgar Allan Poe because I have always enjoyed reading his work. But it isn't as nice as I had imagined becuase well the lovely Poe uses a complex language and the font  of the book is super small.

 I managed to read only:

  1. The Unparalleled Adventure of one Hans Pfall
  2. The balloon hoax
  3. Mesmeric Revelation
  4. Ms. Found in a bottle
  5. A descent into the Maelstorm
  6. Von Kempelen and his discovery
  7. The gold bug
  8. The facts in the case of M. Valdemar
  9. The 1002 tale of Scheherazade
  10. The Murders in the Rue Morgue
  11. The mystery of Marie Roget
  12. The fall of the house of Usher
  13. The purloined letter
  14. The tell-tale heart
  15. The Black cat
So yeah I did not get through many yet. I really like most of them except maybe the 9th but oh well over all it was pretty good but I really think I'll take my time and come back to it the next couple of months and finish the rest.

So far I give it a 3.5 stars.

Mid Month Wrap up (Hous Pocus + #AYearAThon)

For the beginning of the month, I participated in two Readathons. So I will do a wrap up of those two first ones that ended on the 13th. The first one was HOCUS POCUS READATHON. The goal was to cast a Spell to become immortal. Goal accomplished! It consisted of 7 challenges out of them, 6 were reading related. Read a total of 6 books. In those the total pages read were 2,263 In average it represented 377.67 pages per book  Not bad for the first two weeks of the month but yeah most of the book were on the shorter side. The second readathon accomplished was #AYearAThon in which we had to read a thriller. In a very good coincidence, these two overlapped allowing me to use a book from the previous challenges to cover this one as well. For this readathon only one book was finished, Misery and this one contained 370 pages.
