This month: Book-related: Battle Royale, Toukoshun Takami. Obsidio, Aime Kaufman & Jay Kristoff For movies. Captain Marvel 8/10 of enjoyment. She is a strong woman who is very confused and very insecure about who she is and what she wants, but in the end, she stands up for herself and is determined to choose her own way from then onward. It is not as action packed as other superhero movies but it has enough action-self discovery drama to make it a very enjoyable movie. Avengers End game: 10/10 on enjoyment Going with Style  This one I did not see it when it first came out but I finally manage to watch it, and loved it!! It's hilarious. These grandpas are awesome XD

Pedro Paramo

Title: Pedro Páramo Author: Juan Rulfo 126 pages Date published 1955 This is a classic read for universal literature. Ok language switch. Pedro Páramo es una de las mejores novelas de las literaturas de lengua hispánica. Se ha traducido a mas de 40 idiomas y es la creación literaria mexicana mas conocida y mejor valorada en el mundo. Esta obra maestra que ha sido mencionada y muy sonada desde tiempos antiguos (para mi) es una obra maestra de mi cultura y aun así no la conocía. Es un estilo de naracción complejo en el sentido que lleva múltiples lineas de tiempo. Y no alcanzo a discernir cual es el presente exactamente. Se observa la perdida de seres queridos, de la fé en Dios o en uno mismo y sobretodo el abandono en que se encuentra el pueblo de Pedro Páramo.  Lo interesante es que algunos de los personajes están muertos, unos son conscientes de ello mientras que otros lo ignoran.
