Mother Figures
So when I first saw this prompt I was like oh yeah, this sounds like fun, but after a small consideration, I realized I have very few options that come to mind. But I will make my best attempt. I might come up with very few choices and after I post it, I will remember later XD
*Maura Sargent, from the Raven Boys
So she is a very nonclassical mother figure. She is permissive, caring and protective of her only daughter. I really like her even if she does not come into the picture as much, and tries to keep her daughter save even if she is unsure of what the real danger is.
*Sally Jackson, from Percy Jackson and the lighting thief.
She is a very remarkable woman, she is trying to keep her son safe against all odds even against otherworldly beings.
*Maryse Lightwood, from the Shadowhunter series.
So she is a very proud woman, with plenty of prejudice but she is a strong woman and is willing to change for the sake of her children.
*Eleanor West, from Every heart a doorway.
She is a very understanding woman because she is not blinded by the rules of logic and reality. She cares about the children that have faced unrealistic travels and tries to help each according to their needs. She is good at it, helping them understand what happened, accept their experiences and if necessary move on with their lives.
