Thoughts:
We see the survivors, the tight group Rick initially encountered is falling apart. People are having issues trusting one another, questioning the decisions, and getting used to the nomad lifestyle.
That is very vague so let's try to give details and not spoil much.
There are several things happening to each of the survivors, everyone has their own things to handle. Michonne is trying to get Rick to trust in himself and his instincts. He has kept their crew alive, fed and thanks to him many issues were resolved in the past. Rick is not allowing it.
Maggie lost her faith in everything, she's not handling loss well. The added new responsibility for Sophia who insists on caller her mom. The girl is also having difficulty accepting the recent facts, she no longer seems to react well to reality, her memories of her real family are gone, she fears abandonment. Maggie is overwhelmed nd takes a rash decision that fortunately is not successful. (Spoiler?)*
We have struggles between the group and the newcomers. Abraham and Rick especially, continue to but heads. They dislike each other, there is no trust, come to almost fistfight, we have death threats. But there is still hope, in a little detour they make to get supplies and weapons, they face-off a group of men and Rick goes feral in his killing. That acts as a weird bonding moment, they have a heart to heart between them.
Dale is also having his own internal fights, he is tired of running, tired of lack of rest, he is sulking. He is the oldest person in the crew, the addition of people simply because Rick vouches for him. The old man is cracking under the stress and is placing the blame of everything that went wrong on Rick.
The group is reaching the turning point, assign blame around. The cohesive group is no more, guilt, blame, anger, and depression has split them. What awaits them?
Note:
People who are not exactly ok in their mental health and have no way to get professional help
-Rick
-Michonne
-Sophia
-Morgan
-Maggie
This series started because of the TV show then because it is a postapocalyptic setting which I am very interested in and now simply I want to finish or catch up to all the started series I can this year. I want to finish all the series, I really need to stop starting series and then leaving them for later, the later takes too long to get here and then need to restart the whole thing.
