2021 Goals part 2

The previous post was about the specific reading goals in general. I set a lot of goals be it in my personal life, reading, or work.

*Music, in this case, means get back into practicing and learning to play the Clarinet. I do not own one but I am trying to acquire one in the next couple of weeks. I have put this on pause for years, the few classes I took no longer count. I will have to start all over again. So this project has two stages:

  1. Find and buy a Clarinet
  2. Get back in touch with a tutor or if the situation is still not allowing due to lockdown restrictions. Online classes or start with the beginner's booklets that start by teaching very simple melodies.

*The next project I want to have for myself is to do a more rigorous posting.

  • Blog a review for each book read or in the case of Manga divide the series up into sections and do a review per section.
  • Try to do more book recommendations, I wish I had more recommendation lists like best of Fantasy, sci-fi for beginners, etc. But I have such a wide range of genres and such that it feels like I am not very well-read in any. Regardless it's impossible to read everything so let's stop making barries for myself. If a recommendation helps anyone find their next read even if only one I'll be happy.
  • The posting schedule is going to be Monday-Wednesday-Friday. I might do a few extras here and there but it's easier for me to post during the weekdays so I'll stick to that.

  • The blog will start to include a few varied topics, but not too much. I will probably add a few more posts about my personal life and other topics of interest. Look forward to series, anime, and probably music ( very little music but still). I can also get recommendations that would be great!

*I will try to do a very loose and very not creative journaling/bullet journal. I'll see how that goes. I am in the middle of setting that up. I might share a few snips of that but as it's not an artistic work that might be not interesting. I mean everybody is always saying that it is not necessary to be creative as long as it's functional. I'll give it a try, in 2020 I did try and I was ok at it, I did a bit each month. It is a work in progress. The first time I stick with something for the whole year, now let's try to keep it up in 2021.

*Stick to series and movies. I need to finish started tv series. Yes, I have an issue about completing series in every media format apparently.

This is it for now.
What are some of your new goals for the upcoming year?

See you later, stay safe!
