October TBR 2020

Few updates about reading clubs I have been participating this year:
-Cosmearalong was canceled.  I am not sure I will continue with the Stormlight archive series this year.

-The Elderlingalong book for September I did not finish. Should I add the #2 in my TBR or juts give up on the club for the rest of the year? I am undecided.
If I continue with the club I need to finish Ship of magic and Mad ship by Robin Hobb, both this month.

My priority is to finish the two books I left started in September, so that includes the ship of magic and The running man by Stephen King. Should I even found this one as started? I read like 2 pages, we can safely assume that if I start it from zero it will not make much difference.

So my completely unrealistic TBR is as follows:

*For the literally dead book club, we have One by one by Ruth Ware. I know very little of this, it gives me an Agatha Christie vibe.
The book description according to GoodReads:
When an off-site company retreat meant to promote mindfulness and collaboration goes utterly wrong when an avalanche hits, the corporate food chain becomes irrelevant and survival trumps togetherness. Come Monday morning, how many members short will the team be?
It sounds intriguing, I want to know why they hate each other or why there is doubt everyone is going to be alive when the rescue time arrives.

 Series  to continue:
*Blue exorcist vol 17-19 by Kazue Kato I am already past the middle of the series so everything could be counted as a spoiler. This starts with Rin finding out he is the son of Satan and he inherited his blue flames. He is accepted into the True cross academy where he is training to become an exorcist. We follow several people, each with their own struggles and haunted pasts.

*Sakura Cardcaptor vol 11 to 12 by CLAMP. T Sakura unleashes a deck of magical ancient cards that will destroy the world unless she captures them. The last two volumes of the original manga.

*Inuyasha vol 5-8 Rumiko Takahashi
Kagome continues her adventure in Feudal era Japan trying to find the Shikon No Tama fragments before the evil demons get them.

*My Hero academia vol 12-14 by Kazue Kato
Stakes are high students that are trying to become Heroes are having a tough time, as villains continue to accumulate victories over the heroes. All mighty is not having such a swell time teaching anymore, can't wait to continue with the series.

*Walking dead vol 19-21 by Robert Kirkman. We continue to follow Rick and a group of survivors as they come face to face with their new reality. The main issue now is not surviving against zombies but against time, and the evil nature of other people.

*The austere academy, Lemony Snicket. The unfortunate orphans are once more shipped off so the evil Count Olaf does not get his hands on them and their fortune. What waits for them in this new place?

*Children of Ruin by Adrian Tchaikovsky. The second part of my lovely Sci-fi book. I am still amazed by what a society of super-intelligent spiders managed to do and really have not even looked into what the second book is about. I just know that the planet received a signal from another location where a life form is waiting for them. What will they find in this new place a friend or foe?

*Knight's Shadow, Sebastien de Castell. this is the second bok n the Greatcoats series. A few days after the horrifying murder of a duke and his family, Falcio Val Mond, swordsman, and First Cantor of the Greatcoats begins a deadly pursuit to capture the killer. But Falcio soon discovers his own life is in mortal danger from a poison administered as a final act of revenge by one of his deadliest enemies. As chaos and civil war begin to overtake the country, Falcio has precious little time left to stop those determined to destroy his homeland.

There are other books I was planning on reading this month but as I take a look into my Current TBR is seems a bit excessive, so we're going to leave it here and if I have time I'll try to add a few more into it.

Wish me luck!!

For now, that's all, have a wonderful rest of the day, stay safe and I really hope you get at least a little window to enjoy immersing yourself in a book.
