2021 Reading Statistics

  Let's take a look into 2021 in lovely statistics. It might be a boring subject. This in no way is meant to make others feel pressured or compare themselves. Numbers are not the most important thing. Reading happens to be my escape from the real world and due to the current times and my lack of options for the first half of the year that I was not leaving my house at all, well that provided a lot of time I was able to spend reading.  This year was filled with changes and scary situations that had me up and down emotionally. But we can look back in my reading journey and count it as a success.  From these numbers, this represents my goal to have been accomplished in 156%.  From them, 7% were rereads- 23 books. That is a bit below, my goal was 10% but I was very close. My next year's goal is set up differently I will use a number as the goal instead of a percent, I see it more achievable.  The formats are a bit more even, not bad really. So this was the first tr that I used this game for the building of my TBR. The first draw:  This means that I will have to do 8 draws of the prompts in order to start my TBR. Let's begin: 1. 2021 Goals part 2

The previous post was about the specific reading goals in general. I set a lot of goals be it in my personal life, reading, or work.   *Music, in this case, means get back into practicing and learning to play the Clarinet. I do not own one but I am trying to acquire one in the next couple of weeks. I have put this on pause for years, the few classes I took no longer count. I will have to start all over again. So this project has two stages: Find and buy a Clarinet Get back in touch with a tutor or if the situation is still not allowing due to lockdown restrictions. Online classes or start with the beginner's booklets that start by teaching very simple melodies.  *The next project I want to have for myself is to do a more rigorous posting.  Blog a review for each book read or in the case of Manga divide the series up into sections and do a review per section.  Try to do more book recommendations, I wish I had more recommendation lists like best of Fantasy, sci-fi...
