The Curious Case of Benjamin of Button

Author: F. Scott Fitzgerald

203 pages
Genre: Short Stories, Classics

Thoughts:
The characters in the stories are very self-centered and petty.
The short stories included were:
1. The curious case of Benjamin Button
2. The diamond as big as the Ritz
3. Tarquin of Cheapside
4. O Russet Witch

In the Benjamin Button story- Benjamin was a very peculiar person as he was growing up. His parents were a bit ridiculous. Then came the wife and child, they were even worse. People can be very selfish and very unfair towards the man. They blame the thing is happening to him (growing younger) and then he is also not very considerate either when he becomes so much younger than his wife and prefers to hang out with younger women.

Not to mention that the people in the story of diamond as big as the Ritz. They were very weird and selfish. Fall "in love" so super fast and complete for no reason.

My least favorite one was Tarquien of cheapside.

The Witch of Russet was ok as well, I think I figured out Fitgerald's signature as being, very self-centered and ridiculous.

In average the overall collection I will give it a 3 stars.
