Series to Get to 2020

This year I plan to get to several series.
I want to have a list of the series I want to prioritize for the end of the year.

Let's begin.

Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin. This is the super popular book and tv series that most people have heard about it. I expect to love it.
It is fantasy with a strong political intrigue with people going at great lengths for power and loyalty.

Wheel of Time, Robert Jordan. This is another fantasy series I want to get to mainly because it is very widely known.

I only own the first three books so I will try to get through those ones and then decide if buying the next ones.

The First Law trilogy, Joe Abercrombie.

A grimdark fantasy that I was recommended, it is said to be darker than A game of thrones.

Mistborn trilogy, Brandon Sanderson.

A Fantasy story about a world with people who have the ability to consume metals in order to augment their abilities.

His dark materials, Phillip Pullman. A YA fantasy about a world where everyone has an animal companion and where there are plenty of mysteries about the origin of life and faith.

Children of time, Adrian Tchaikovsky
This is a sci-fi series about humanity escaping Earth and discovering new jarring places to inhabit.

Jurassic Park, Michael Crichton. The books from which the famous movies were based. I really want to get more into Sci-fi and this is a good route to pursue.
I do not own them yet, not sure if to buy it or try to get through Scribd or something like that.

Oz, the complete collection, L Frank Baum.
The story of Dorothy how a tornado sweeps her up and lands her on the land of Oz, full of mysterious and powerful magicians and those who seek their help. I have seen this story referenced too much but need to read the original.

Dorothy must die, Danielle Paige. This is a YA retelling of Oz. I am planning on reading the original tales and reading this about a girl who goes to Oz after growing up with the Dorothy and her fairytale, well it sounds interesting. Still not at the top of my priority list but I want to try to get to it sometime this year.

The stormlight archive, Brandon Sanderson. This is an epic fantasy story, that is going to be long and yet it seems to be amazing. I do not know what is is about but I need to read it!
Sidenote this year I will simply be reading very popular series XD

Two older series I want to get my hands on and read are:

At the end of 2019 I read the first one, now need to get to the rest. This is again something I have heard about and there is even a movie, so its about time I get to the books.

Last but one of the series I want to prioritize:
No need to introduce this series. Again one I really really want to read because I loved the movies.

There were others that were started in 2019 or previously but I do not know if I will be able to continue them, but the ones here are the ones I predict I will actually get to.
