End of the Year Book Tag

I found this book tag on youtube, as usual, I saw it with Ariel Bisset and well not sure who is the original creator, I have seen this going around in several people so yeah not sure who to give credit for. Apologies.

So let's get to it.

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
I started A game of thrones by George R.R. Martin a few weeks ago but I put it down even if I was enjoying it, really not sure why I stopped. I hope to finish it either in November December.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition to the end of the year?
I don't have a book that gives autumnal other than maybe reading spooky books or at least thrillers. But not sure what book can be chosen for this one, let's see I will pick 11/22/1963 by Stephen King, I'm sure this one would feel mysterious enough to me.

Is there a new release you're still waiting for?

The new releases are not something I pay much attention to, but I have been waiting for the continuation of the Raven Cycle second series. I really hope to be pleasantly surprised by the continuation.

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
Other than the obvious Maggie Stiefvater's new release. I want to try to read Hannibal Rising by Thomas Harries, The turn of the key by Ruth Ware and Neverworld Wake by Marisha Pessl

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?
Maybe the bade itself by Joe Abercrombie or the turn of the key by Ruth Ware, as I have heard amazing things about them. So hopefully I will love them, but hard to know I always start a book with the hope that I will love it.

Have you already started making reading plans for 2020?
Yes definitely, I am planning on the game to choose my monthly TBRs, what series I want to prioritize and I even want to plan how to manage my book-buying obsession.
I must finish them soon, we have little, very little time.
I definitely enjoy making plans, I just love to check little goals off a list.
