The Raven King

Book Description (from Good Reads): All her life, Blue has been warned that she will cause her true love's death. She doesn't believe in true love and never thought this would be a problem, but as her life becomes caught up in the strange and sinister world of the Raven Boys, she's not so sure anymore.

Thoughts:

I really love the story mainly due to the characters. This being a reread its obvious that  I will not be objective (when am I, really a 100% objective?).
There is a lot of things happening, for starters, there is a new enemy, this time there is a weird team of bad people in Henrietta. They seem again a bit like the typical enemies, people obsessed with magical artifacts and money with a shady moral compass.
There is a new friendship flourishing extremely fast.
The relationships that were being hinted and almost happening take off in a very teenager style I guess no one talks about starting said relationship people don't confess their feelings but just act o their feelings and move on from there XD
The plot finally sees to move, it is developing in a slow pace in the first half, the plot of finding the king itself I mean. There is a lot of things going on with the new enemies and new challenges, so a lot of things are happening, our characters are thrown into a lot of shocking and interesting situations. ut finally the goal is reached, this feels almost underwhelming. There was a lot of building up and then BAM! The whole thing ends in a way you do not expect.

I do not do spoilers but DAMN there is a trope here that I really do not like happening to Gansey, the way it develops I did not expect and is surprising but the trope itself was not what I had expected to happen.

I ended up giving this book 4.5 stars as most of the previous ones.

This book was used to accomplish several reading challenges:
*Reread of the month
*TBR Game Unfinished last month maybe because I meant to read this in October because I wanted to finish the reread before the continuation of Call down the hawk came out.
