Isaac Asimov suggested reading order:
In the ‘Author’s Note’ at the beginning of Prelude to Foundation, he offered his own reading order – a chronological order, to be precise.
I, Robot
The Caves of Steel
The Naked Sun
The Robots of Dawn
Robots and Empire
The Stars, Like Dust
The Currents of Space
Pebble in the Sky
Prelude to Foundation
Forward the Foundation – It was not in Asimov’s list as it had not been written yet, but it’s the right place.
Foundation
Foundation and Empire
Second Foundation
Foundation’s Edge
Foundation and Earth
I, Robot
The Caves of Steel
The Naked Sun
The Robots of Dawn
Robots and Empire
The Stars, Like Dust
The Currents of Space
Pebble in the Sky
Prelude to Foundation
Forward the Foundation – It was not in Asimov’s list as it had not been written yet, but it’s the right place.
Foundation

Second Foundation
Foundation’s Edge
Foundation and Earth
So as I was doing February TBR I read the very first book, not necessarily due to this article. I picked it up because I found it casually in my used bookstore and I really wanted to start reading a bit from his works. But it worked out fine, we will try to follow this order as well.
So we're adding a new series to the list of series to get to this year. My overall yearly TBR is growing.
Earlier this week I finally got the post of the review for I robot. I did pick that book up in Spanish not sure if the others will be available in English or Spanish we'll see how things turn out.
