Saga Vol 3
Author: Bria K. Vaughan
Artist: Fiona Staples
Series Saga Chapter 13 to 16
Publication date: March 19, 2014
Book Description (from Good Reads): tale of one young family fighting to find their place in the universe. Searching for their literary hero, new parents Marko and Alana travel to a cosmic lighthouse on the planet Quietus, while the couple's multiple pursuers finally close in on their targets.
Thoughts:
We have several stories going at the same time.
The Will and Gwendolyn trapped in a weird paradisaic little planet. There are several trials they face in part that makes them even more endearing. We get to know a bit more about their past and the people close to it.
The Robot IV prince is still chasing them and he proves to be more resourceful or smart than what people give him credit for.
There are a couple of reporters chasing the story of the century! And they are smarter than what people expect, and they are getting very close to what the government feels comfortable with.
We have deaths, but again the one we lose is not as dear to me so it was just ok.
The family Marko and Alana seem to be facing a few peaceful moments, then their life takes a few swirls here and there. Alana needs to find a way to support their small family, they still need to be fed and clothed. It is funny in a way the job she manages to find.
I do not see much plot development, as it is made clear before but the characters are the thing that pulls you through, I really wanted to continue reading after I got to the end of the volume. It ended in a very ok and not in an annoying cliffhanger.
