Rank Every 5 and 4 star rating book I read this 1st Quarter

So this is a random idea based on the fact people are ranking every (place everything under the sun) be it all books they ever read, every finished series, every book ever read, etc using the Tier rating but I forget the webpage and it really is hard to make it a video or list so I think it's easier to pile them up based on my own liking.

First I'll make them a list based on my personal enjoyment then I'll make a list (stack) based on GoodReads average rating so we can see the list based on popular belief. It might be very different.
So the book will be only based on the 5 and 4-star ratings as I have read so far 65 books and a list that big will be too much and no one will be able to even glance at it, it'll be interminable.

Let's begin:

  1. Elantris, Brandon Sanderson. An adult fantasy of a community called Elantris that used to be a place full of magic and powerful people, but after something no one understands everyone who had this magic (everyone who had it lived in this place) turned to monsters and lost their abilities. At random people born in the area get the gift or curse now, they become elantrians, get the sickness and then get thrown inside the walls of the city to wander with the rest of the people already affected.
  2. Assassin's Apprentice, Robin Hobb another adult fantasy coming of age where a bastard son of a prince, is raised after he gets the attention of the king and is trained to be a tool as that is the only thing gives his existence meaning.
  3. The emperor's soul, Brandon Sanderson a short story of a woman who is a forger and forced to fix the mind of the emperor after an attempt on his life.
  4. Salem's lot, Stephen King this is a horror/paranormal story of a small town and a few disappearances that start to plague their town and how the whole town is in danger due to new "people" who came to town.
  5. A game of thrones, George RR Martin a super known fantasy that took me a while to get into but I really enjoyed it. The story is just beginning. It is only very intimidating sue to the huge page count but oh well.
  6. The blade itself, Joe Abercrombie fantasy based on a few bunch of characters who are having their own issues and have their own twisted nature. I find it hard to describe the plot as its mainly based on their own lives and their past. There is a war brewing and people are trying to prevent or fight in it.
  7. Carrie, Stephen King the well-known story of Carrie a very ostracized young girl with telekinesis who takes revenge on her high school, her town and her mother for pushing around so much, it was a bit different from what I expected it, but loved it!
  8. The other people, CJ Tudor a mystery thriller based mainly on a man who is convinced her daughter was abducted but the police insist she died. He is looking for her and along the way makes some amazing discoveries like a group of anonymous vigilantes who exact revenge as long as you promise to keep the chain going. It's amazingly capturing you just keep reading, the only bad point was the paranormal aspect (very small but still present) of two of the characters but it was still a great read.
  9. The sword of summer, Rick Riordan a fantasy story about Magus an orphan who lives in the streets and yet he discovers his father was an Asgardian god, and his life changes after his death, he becomes a member of the Vallaha. He must delay Ragnarok.
  10. The hope of Elantris, Brandon Sanderson, this tells more details of what happened during the battle in Elantris, while our heroes were fighting, the Elantrians had to face an invasion.
  11. I am legend, Richard Matheson undoubtedly I picked it up because I liked the movie. Big surprise very different. I love the loneliness, even if some things did not make sense to me, overall especially after a bit of time from it, I love it. Neville is a man alone in a world where most people have become vampires and his struggle for survival.
  12. The turn of the key, Ruth Ware a mystery thriller about a woman who is accused of murdering one of the children she was taking care of. She is writing a series of letters telling this famous lawyer the full story of what happened since she started nannying for the family. The whole story is told to you afterward but it's amazing, you can't put down the book.
  13. Of blood and bone, Nora Roberts is the continuation of The one, after a plague kills off most of the population people who survive, some start to develop magical abilities. Every supernatural being starts to get a prophecy of some sort about the one who will save them all. In the first book, the one is unborn, in this one, she is born and we see her grow up and start her training to become the powerful witch to save the world of darkness. I really like it, is very realistic.
  14. The testaments, Margaret Atwood a dystopian book being the second part to the handmaid's tale. I really enjoyed the story of each one of the people sharing their stories here, seeing the background of how it all came to be and how it was running its society. It was a great sequel, I loved it when the first part had been such an average enjoyment.
  15. The Rook, Daniel O'Malley a sci-fi story of a woman who works for a super-secret government agency. She loses her memory after an attack from someone from her own work and she does not know did it, heck she knows nothing, she has amnesia, ad her past self knew that was coming and left written letters and guides for her to help her manage in the life she knows nothing about as she tries to figure out who is after her and why.
  16. The silent patient, Alex Michaelides is another mystery thriller about a dr who is trying to get help for a woman who is convicted for the murder of her husband. She stabbed him several times and was apprehended at the crime scene, she has not spoken since the day she was captured. The dr wants to figure out what happened that fateful day as up to that day the marriage seemed to be perfect from everyone's POV.
  17. The mysterious affair at Styles, Agatha Christie a mystery/thriller I really enjoyed, but as usual, I am reading several books at once and for her, as I read them I enjoy them greatly but then they blur together in my mind as they all have great storytelling and a mystery being solved by a smart person who is always thinking outside the box. I do not mean to sound negative, I do really enjoy them.
  18. Huntress, Kate Quinn a historical fiction based right after WWII, a group of people make a living out of looking for Nazi officials who evaded the law and are in hiding. This becomes a personal vendetta and they set after a single woman who was responsible for heinous acts but mainly due to personal hate of two of the main characters toward her. We get several timelines and POV, its very interesting but it eventually felt too jagged, as we do get too much of each of them that it feels too long. Pull through in the middle and its worth it towards the end.
  19. Blue exorcist, Kazue Kato vol 8 to 10. It is a great middle, things are getting interesting for the group of teenagers who are training to become exorcists as the judgment to the son of Satan is still pending and as they work to defeat demons who could kill everyone in their country.
  20. Jurassic Park, Michael Crichton a sci-fi story about a group of scientists who want to make dinosaurs come back to life and display them in an island, this is very different from the movie, I listened to this in audio and loved it.
  21. The Lesmesumier inheritance, Agatha Christie a family who faces a curse and a worried mother who wants to save her children as she does not believe the old tales of a family curse and yet her older son had faced several unfortunate accidents that he barely escaped with his life. Short story and yet very capturing, a very fast read.
  22. Murder on the links, Agatha Christie another great mystery that our detectives solve due to thinking outside the box and it gives me a lot of Dr. House vibes, I really enjoy the books as I read them and can't put it down. Have to find out how and who did it.
  23. I Robot, Isaac Asimov the sci-fi short story collection that introduces the basic AI rules for which most robots/androids follow nowadays. An enjoyable read but it felt too small as each story started and ended too soon.
  24. The Kingdom of Copper, SA Chakraborty a fantasy full of jin and other kins of beings who are forced to live together but full of hate and discrimination for one another and a girl raised outside trying to fix that with limited power and knowledge. Interesting really.
  25. Viral poems, Bottom Poetry this was greatly enjoyed as I read it but as more time passes it becomes less and less meaningful.  It is a poetry collection some were more powerful than others but for poetry it was good.
My own Ranking in picture.
Ok so lets now show what Good Reads indicates:

Not bad really, I mean it is very different but oh well we all have a particular taste.
