2020 Buddy Reads

So there is a buddy readathon for the next year that is being hosted by Elliot and her husband over at Elliot Brooks YouTube channel.

I will leave the announcement video and the list of the books. Not sure if I will participate, but I'm really interested.


So I think I will follow their buddy read. I already have Byzan so I might as well use it. I simply downloaded it but didn't really use it.

Some of them are more interesting than others, but I really don't know much about them.
I have already read All the light we cannot see, the book thief and that's it. The rest are new books.
So I might look for them in Scribd, because not sure if I want to buy that many books if I don' know if I will really like it.
I have been disappointed lately so I will try to control more what I buy, or better said I will be more critical when picking what to buy and what to find in digital format.

Mid Month Wrap up (Hous Pocus + #AYearAThon)

For the beginning of the month, I participated in two Readathons. So I will do a wrap up of those two first ones that ended on the 13th. The first one was HOCUS POCUS READATHON. The goal was to cast a Spell to become immortal. Goal accomplished! It consisted of 7 challenges out of them, 6 were reading related. Read a total of 6 books. In those the total pages read were 2,263 In average it represented 377.67 pages per book  Not bad for the first two weeks of the month but yeah most of the book were on the shorter side. The second readathon accomplished was #AYearAThon in which we had to read a thriller. In a very good coincidence, these two overlapped allowing me to use a book from the previous challenges to cover this one as well. For this readathon only one book was finished, Misery and this one contained 370 pages.
