December Readathons
So this month I have the idea of having a slow reading month because it is a very busy month so let's not overwhelm us.
I did already modify my 2019 Reading challenge but only set it to 220 books this month, I will not add any more for the time being. Not sure how realistic that is, I have already reached the 93%, I am currently reading 3 books, in different stages of progress and have yet to pick my TBR for the month so.... Yeah, maybe I will make a final modification midmonth, oh well.
OneThing for sure I will not be able to reach the number of books read last year, which has been my best reading year ever! I did complete 253 book out of my 200 goal.
Notice how this is common I make a goal of books at the beginning of each year and try my damn hardest to surpass it.
Moving on, let's take a look in the main readathons I will try to participate this month.
#AYearAThon
I have finally managed to get through all the 12 monthly challenges of #AYearAThon. For this month we have the theme of graphic novels and Short stories.
Duration 2 - 8 of December
Walking Dead Vol 3: Safety behind bars, Robert Kirkman
Blue Exorcist vol 5, Kazue Kato
Blue Exorcist vol 6 Kazue Kato
Grimm's Fairy tales to pick the number of stories to read this month we used the draw of # short stories we got 3, but because we did not read the last chosen stories we will try to read them here as well. So in total, we will include the first 8 stories. (There is no way I will finish the whole collection in this time frame)
-The Frog King or Iron Henry
-Cat and mouse in partnership
-Our lady's child
-the story of the youth who went forth to learn what we fear
-the wold and the seven little kids
-Faithful John
-The good bargain
The wonderful magician

The other Readathon we will participate in the Winter 2019 Magical Readathon which has a different format this time around.
The story will be given in chapters and you will choose your own way through the story you choose the decisions and the path you take will give you different reading challenges.
The web page where we will play the game is going to be: https://www.magicalreadathon.com/saving-ginny
The chapters will be unlocked each Sunday of the month.
Chapter 1: December 1
Chapter 2: DEcember 8
Chapter 3: December 15
Chapter 4: December 22
Chapter 5: December 29
So as of now, I have no idea what the challenges will be so each week I will first read the chapter and build the TBR for that week.
So the first Chapter will be as follows:
I will not include the story here only the prompts and my decision so to see the full story please go the website here.
You met Dobby and he is making too much noise trying to convince you to not go back to Hogwarts this year. We have two choices
-Falsely promise that you won't go back to Hogwarts so Dobby leaves.
-Make no promise and continue to try to talk him out of it.
Being very honest with myself I would try to talk him out of it, my first option in this situation and not knowing what could come next I would not promise, maybe after trying for a while and not making progress I could try to make a false promise, but I am bad at masking my feelings so it might show through.
The official answer I make no such promise and try to talk Dobby out of it.
The grab your owl and fly away
Nex choice Grab a snack and meet the Weasleys in the field to play Quidditch.
Reading prompt:
Read a book that features a game/competition/race.
The test, Sylvain Neuvel
This is a story set in Englan set in near future for citizenship and the stakes are high, life-death high.
