Thoughts:

It is a very quick read, not only because it is very short, but also it is very capturing.
Since the first few pages you get sept into the story and can't stop until you end it.
It does show you the plot twist very quickly.
A very realistic man, but he analyzes his every action, and the others as well.
It felt like a cheat the first time I learned what the whole thing was, but then as we continued to experience both sides of the situation. I know it is extremely vague but it would be a horrible spoiler if I say what I am talking about. So coming back to the story, I really liked it.
The characters are interesting and realistic in their over the top way. We have a citizenship test that spirals over the top, making a very big impression, and even better we do not just glass over a very impactful situation, you can't just shake your head and magically everything comes back to be flowers and rainbows. We see our favorite family man, fight with himself and not know what to do about how he felt due to his actions.

I like the idea of it, it was much less dangerous than what I first imagined when I read the description but it was still very good. Just what I needed in order to get my reading stamina.

This book was used to accomplish the first chapter of the Winter 2019 Magical Readathon for chapter 1.
