Series "Finished" 2019
Series was something I wanted to get into this year for real and I even planned on starting and finishing some as part of my goals of the year (Spoiler alert: That did not happen, so total failure!)
So the Series I did manage to finish or at least catch up to the last published.
I really loved the trilogy and have a huge yearning to reread the whole thing, so maybe next year still not sure.
I enjoyed the read but this series is definitely not my favorite one. It was simply an ok reading time but not mind-blowing or super exciting.
We still have Percy and this time a new set of main characters, I liked the new people, we get to explore a bit of the life of our favorite people but it starts to feel like a bunch of nothing is happening to make time stretch, the world is always ending, like really? Oh well it is still enjoyable to read
This was a nice surprise, I was just looking for a nice quick read. It was a nice surprise. I really enjoyed the idea of children going to other worlds and then coming back. That part of other worlds and the life there is explored more on the last few books that made me love the whole series or at least the ones that are published so far. Each book follows a different set of characters, you enjoy some more than others but overall its a great story.
This is a middle-grade book that feels like an interesting not scary book that you get into and just fly through. I liked it, it was a very interesting take on ghost hunting.
A girl who has the ability to see ghosts and she discovers the reason when she meets another girl who also has that ability. And she goes on adventures with her ghostly best friend and tries to help the ghosts she meets to move on.
So this year I finally listed to one of my friend's recommendations and started and finished this series. It follows Hannibal a little less than what I expected, yet the character is so imposing that in the little page time he has it makes you fall for him. Hannibal certainly is captivating. I read this super quick, I just got caught in the thread and needed to know the who did it, will they catch them, happening in all the books.
Big surprise only these series were finished so far.
There were certainly many more that I had intended to finish this year, but oh well I'll bring that huge list of series started and not caught up/finished.
Maybe tomorrow if I actually sit down to write that. We'll see.
