Asimov presents the three fundamental laws for the first time.  Thoughts: This has a very interesting premise, we follow a character throughout her life, Susan Calvin, and what technology evolution she sees happen. The ironic thing we notice in each story is that we have very specific fundamental laws and yet in each story, we see clever ways where the intelligent machines overcome or sidestep those laws in a way most people would not imagine.  We see very interesting people, as intelligent machines are not simply supercomputer but they develop feelings, they do come to care a bit for their humans...

QUESTIONS:  1. What is your fantasy origin story? (How you came to read your first fantasy novel)   Very classic, I first got interested in Harry Potter when I was in sixth grade, I was a very peculiar kid, I saw the first 3 movies and I insisted on getting the fourth book onwards. I started out of order XD 2. Isaac Asimov suggested reading order:

In the ‘Author’s Note’ at the beginning of Prelude to Foundation, he offered his own reading order – a chronological order, to be precise. I, Robot The Caves of Steel The Naked Sun The Robots of Dawn Robots and Empire The Stars, Like Dust The Currents of Space Pebble in the Sky Prelude to Foundation Forward the Foundation – It was not in Asimov’s list as it had not been written yet, but it’s the right place. Foundation Foundation and Empire Second Foundation Foundation’s Edge Foundation and Earth So as I was doing February TBR I read the very first book, not necessarily due to this article. I picked it up because I found it casually in my used bookstore and I really wanted to start reading a bit from his works. But it worked out fine, we will try to follow this order as well.  So we're adding a new series to the list of series to get to this year. My overall yearly TBR is growing.
